Coach Oscar Alejandro Castro Valencia

I fully embrace the philosophy of Coroncoro Soccer Club: prioritizing proper team development over the pursuit of immediate victories.

With over 20 years of experience in youth development, I have worked with youth squads (U8–U18) at Sporting Cristal (Bogotá), Carabobo FC (Venezuela), and Real Bogotá FC. I learned to instill essential values: responsibility, respect, effort, teamwork, and perseverance.

As the U13 Assistant Coach to Luis Carlos Perea; a legend who played in the 1990 and 1994 World Cups, my commitment is to continue developing players of strong character, not only for the sport but for life, while maintaining a balance between holistic growth and on-field performance.

Coach Freddy Medina

Coach Freddy is a soccer coach with experience as a player in Colombia’s semi-professional Primera B league, an experience that allowed me to understand the game from both competitive and developmental perspectives. Professionally, I studied Physical Education and had the opportunity to coach the Universidad Libre team for four years.

After arriving in this country, I resumed my soccer career by working for two and a half years with the PSG Academy’s "Future Stars" program, where I deepened my knowledge of modern training methodologies. Additionally, I specialized in high-performance personalized training, working with promising players from clubs such as Key Biscayne, PSG Academy, Inter Miami, and Rush.

As a coach, I focus on the player's holistic development while prioritizing personal growth over immediate results. I view soccer as an educational process that builds character, discipline, and values.

Coach Erica Chauta

I currently work with the club’s U-10 team, where I specialize in teaching fundamental skills and creating a positive, structured learning environment.

I bring a strong playing background, having competed on varsity teams in both middle and high school, as well as 10 years in competitive soccer leagues. This experience has given me a clear understanding of the developmental process and what young players need to grow effectively.

As a coach, and in alignment with the CSC methodology, I prioritize individual development over immediate results. My goal is to help players improve technically while also enjoying the game, building confidence, and developing key values such as discipline, respect, teamwork, and commitment.

My objective is to contribute to the growth of well-rounded players by helping them build a strong foundation both on and off the field.

Coach Juan Sebastian Varela

Juan Sebastián is a coach passionate about the holistic development of players, boasting over eight years of experience training children and young people both on and off the field. His coaching approach goes beyond immediate results, prioritizing the technical, tactical, physical, and personal growth of each player in alignment with the club's philosophy.

Throughout his career, he has worked with various age groups, excelling particularly in youth development by creating environments that are competitive and disciplined yet positive for learning. His methodology combines intensity, dynamism, discipline, and a love for the game, always aiming for his teams to play with a distinct identity, intelligence, and passion.

His mission as a coach is to help every child reach their full potential, both in soccer and in life.
